With a rich history of student housing development in Germany, which includes over 3,000 student housing units, BTC retained Eidos Architecture Inc. (now Faction Architecture Inc.) and Braniff Construction (2010) Ltd. (now Faction Construction) to assist them with the design and construction of approximately 251 unique 'micro' suites within the University Village development adjacent to UBCO in Kelowna. The buildings have a regional character, fit intuitively into the site, and the design is unique with respect to the units which are expressed in the undulating form of the exterior facade.
