About the Project

The new Health Sciences Centre has replaced the Health Building on campus. Health and social development programming on the Kelowna campus has been moved from the Health Building (and other sites on campus) to the new Health Sciences Centre, which is an addition constructed adjacent to the Laboratory Building. The Laboratory building supports the programming for the Bachelor of Science and Nursing, university transfer science programs and engineering technology programs. This larger complex is supporting the delivery of all of the campus’s science, health, social development, and engineering technology programming.

The project has achieved LEED Gold Certification and is pursuing the CAGBC Zero Carbon Pilot Program and the WELL Building Standard - Educational Facilities Pilot Program.
