About the Project

Five years after completing the renovation of Red Arrow’s main downtown terminal we were asked to develop a stand-alone facility for North Calgary. The project was to follow “the look” developed for the main terminal but was under budget and time restrictions, because the land for the project is a short 5-year term lease. The solution was a modular building that can be moved from the site. The building is composed of 3 modular units suitable for highway or rail transport and is supported on a screw pile system which can also be removed

The 3 units are not discernable on either the inside or outside, and as such the project reads as a stand alone built in situ structure. Since coming into full operation in early 2009 the project has been very well received by Red Arrow’s customers. The building is a reflection of the company, and on the consummate service they provide.
